M&A Day

What does the M&A-day committee do?
Each year Asset | Financials organizes the M&A-day. During a case day, with a three course lunch, students have the opportunity to become familiar with several finance companies in an informal & formal way and can acquire information about the career opportunities within these companies. The students will join a different company during every session and lunch course. This edition 4 companies and 24 students participate. 

What do you learn?
As a committee member, you are responsible for communication with the companies, the selection procedure of the students, the dinner, practical organization and the promotion of the event. You will improve your organizational and soft skills. During the first months the committee will, amongst trying to arrange the location, find companies for the dinner and look into the planning. During the month of the event, the committee will be quite busy to
make sure that the event will run smoothly. Being an active member of Asset | Financials also gives you the opportunity to get to know many new people and expand your network. 

How much time does it take?
Participating in the M&A Day committee does not take up much of your time. Because you are focusing on an annual event, it will only take up one hour every two weeks. Please note that things will get a little busier as the event approaches, but even then, the intensity will not be too overwhelming.
