What does the Charity Committee do?
The Charity Committee focuses on organizing events that are meant to help the community. These events can involve doing volunteer work with a group of students or raising money for charity. This way we secure a spot for the TUC!
What do you learn?
Being part of the Charity Committee is an excellent opportunity to improve your organizational skills as well as your soft skills. You can organize something that is really useful for the society and students. In this committee, you have a lot of freedom to come up with innovative events. Being an active member of Asset | Financials also gives you the opportunity to get to know many new people and expand your network.
How much time does it take?
Within Asset | Financials, the Charity Committee does not require much time. This is because you organize an event towards the summer period, which means that in the earlier period you are mainly busy coming up with ideas for the event and getting the basics in order. As the event approaches, you will be expected to put in a little more work. This committee tries to divide the tasks as evenly as possible, so that in addition to a meeting every two weeks, you will spend about one hour per week on the committee.
