What is a Confidential Contact Person?

Within Asset, some members have followed a training to become a Confidential Contact Person. This means you can contact them for anything you might not feel comfortable sharing with your coordinator or other people within the association. Anything you share is highly confidential and will not be shared with anyone else without your explicit approval. Similarly, no action will be taken unless you want the Confidential Contact Person to do so. We are here to have a talk if you struggle with stress or have something else on your mind that you would like to share. This can range from personal issues to unpleasant experiences you might have within the association or with other members. Unwanted behavior is never tolerated within our association and there is always someone here for you to talk about it. We are here to offer a listening ear and refer you to the right person if this is needed.

Within Asset | Financials, Tobias Smits and Raquel van Kuringe are the Confidential Contact Persons. In addition, Matthijs Regeling is the person who can be approached for social safety issues on behalf of the board.

Asset General Confidential Contact Persons

At Asset Tilburg we have confidential contact persons. If you feel unsafe or have anything else you want to talk about, please contact Franka de Buck (+31 6 53259340) or Fenna Berends (+31 6 44785659). All confidential contact persons have followed a training and are certified. 

Hi, my name is Franka de Buck and I am 22 years old. This year I am one of the two confidential contact persons from Asset. I am also the chairman of Asset | SBIT and the Public Relations manager of Asset. 

If you ever feel the need to talk to anyone about anything, you can always contact me, we will try to find a time and place that suits us both. If you like we could do a walk or meet somewhere for a cup of coffee.

Hi everyone, my name is Fenna Berends, I am 22 years old. Currently I am the chairman of the Economic Business Weeks Tilburg (EBT) and have close contact with Asset. Just like Franka, I am a confidential contact person. 

If you want a private talk with me, you can find me at the EBT room or simply send me a text. We can take a walk or sit somewhere to chat. Don’t hesitate to contact me. 

In case you do not feel comfortable talking to an Asset board member about something you experienced within Asset you can always contact the Integrity Committee.
